Digital Media Production

Since 2001 EditHouse has provided post-production services including video editing, graphic design, DVD authoring and video encoding. Our client list has included the Australia Council for the Arts, Australian National Maritime Museum, Australian Trade Commission, dLux Media Arts, TWI, 8 Commercials, Buspak, Fitness First, Fun Fitness, Aon Livewire, DVD Now magazine, Digital Media World magazine and many others.

In early 2002 EditHouse authored and published a compilation DVD of short films and animations, called DISCulture. This was the first of its kind in Australia, and the disc received very favourable reviews. Filmink magazine said, “Short films, particularly indie ones, rarely get the digital (deluxe) treatment, and EditHouse have transferred them immaculately, taking full advantage of the technology”. Filmink review: 4 out of 5. DVD Now review: 3.5 out of 5. Empire review: 4 out of 5.

Other Digital Media projects have included a showcase CD-ROM for the Australian National Maritime Museum and DVD’s for the Australia Council for the Arts, dLux Media Arts and DVD Now magazine, amongst many others. Graphic design, coding and technical consultation has also been provided for several websites.
